The domain

It was in 1966 that Dominic Poggiali acquired the Fèlsina farm, at a time when the Tuscan then experienced a real wine revolution with the Super Tuscans. Located southeast of the historic area of Chianti Classico And Crete Senesi in the town of Castelnuovo Berardenga in the province of Siena, spread over nearly 600 hectares, 95 of which are planted with vines, the Fèlsina estate brings together all the greatest terroirs that make up the charm and reputation of the Tuscan in Italy. The philosophy of Fattoria Fèlsina is based on simple values: to reveal the expression of the Tuscan terroir and grape varieties in wines that relate history and tradition.

On these lands of particularly rocky limestone soils, with stratified marls and layers of sandstone, silt, clay and marine sediments rich in minerals, the emblematic black variety of Chianti, the famous Sangiovese finds all the perfect conditions necessary for its development to give birth to great Tuscan wines.
