The domain
The Armand Rousseau estate is located in Gevrey Chambertin, whose creation dates back to the beginning of the 20th century by Armand Rousseau who decided to sell wines directly in the 1920s. It includes more than 15 hectares, including 8 .5 hectares of Grands Crus and 3.8 hectares of 1st Crus vinified using sustainable agriculture, with vines on limestone and clay-limestone soils.
Six emblematic Grands Crus of Burgundy are produced by the Armand Rousseau estate: Chambertin, Charmes Chambertin, Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Ruchottes Chambertin strong>, the Mazy Chambertinand the Clos de la Roche. The estate's wines are concentrated and sensual wines, aged for more than 20 months after 2 rackings with an aging potential of more than 20 years for the Grands Crus, and more than 15 years for the 1st Crus.
