Yquem remains and will remain the greatest and most famous sweet wine in the world. For a hundred years, this unique Premier Cru Classé Superior stands out from other Bordeaux wines with its exemplary consistency, even in small vintages and difficult periods. Under the direction of Pierre Lurton, already at the head of White horse, the vintage has only produced great masterpieces for around ten years, deserving more than ever its status as a legendary wine. The particularity ofYquem comes from its unique terroir. Here, botrytis grows like nowhere else and offers Sauternes absolutely marvelous, with controlled sumptuousness and incredible gade potential which places it far ahead of all its neighbors.
