Gevrey-Chambertin - Domaine d'Auvenay 2004

Long time co-manager of the field of Romanée Conti, an outstanding taster, Lalou Biz-Leroy has built a myth in fifty years, that of the great wine of Burgundy. Biodynamicist, this demanding woman works her vines like one cultivates a garden.

The Domaine d’Auvenay is the exclusive property of Lalou Biz-Leroy who began by buying the farm which serves as his home in Saint-Romain, before acquiring different plots of land between 1989 and 1995 and truly establishing Auvenay.

This small estate of 3.87 hectares now brings together two grands crus in the Côte de Nuits and plots in the great white terroirs of the Côte de Beaune. The estate is managed biodynamically.

Its wines are celebrated across the planet and are extremely rare given the small size of the vineyard.
