Romanee Saint Vivant - Domaine Arnoux Lachaux 2004

The domain

The estate is a family estate of Vosne-Romanée, the appellation where five grands crus are produced, including the famous Romanée-Conti. This means that this terroir is conducive to the great wines of Burgundy. Florence, Pascal Lachaux and their son, Charles, are at the helm of a family estate founded in 1858 (Domaine Arnoux). The couple operates 14.5 hectares and produces 15 exceptional appellations, from the village appellation to the grand cru: Clos-de-Vougeot, Echezaux, Romanée-Saint-Vivant...

The wines of Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux are exceptional, all from legendary plots from the greatest terroirs of the Côte de Nuits: Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny and Vosne-Romanée, where the estate is located. Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux produces three grands crus, five premier crus, five village appellations and a generic Bourgogne. It has the particularity of producing only red wines. Charles, the son of Pascal Lachaux, arrived in 2012 to support his father but the duo agree on the wines they want to make: pinots noirs that provoke emotions and pleasure
