Clos Vougeot Grand Cru - Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair 2022

An agricultural engineer and oenologist, Viscount Louis-Michel Liger-Belair founded the winery of the same name in 2000 to take over the management of the vineyards his family still owned. Over the years, he has established himself in the Burgundy wine scene by producing high-quality wines. Today, he farms hectares of vines in Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Flagey-Echezeaux, among others. The estate comprises 12 appellations in total. It has been certified organic since 2011 and biodynamic since 2012. From the outset, Louis-Michel wanted to pursue an environmentally friendly approach to viticulture. He continues this approach today, and it has contributed greatly to his excellent reputation.
