Saint-Émilion - Chateau Pavie Macquin 2017
The domain
The Chateau Pavie Macquin was founded in the 19th century by Albert Macquin, the man who introduced grafted plants to France in order to save the country's vineyards from the destruction caused by phylloxera. Today, the château is still the property of Macquin's descendants and its vineyard enjoys an exceptional location. Wines dominated by Merlot are generous and full-bodied.
