The domain

Château Cissac has been part of the Crus Bourgeois classification since its creation in 1932. In 2018, it was classified Cru Bourgeois Supérieur .

Château Cissac is anchored in the heart of the Médoc. Neighboring the prestigious appellations of Saint-Estèphe and Pauillac, the Château Cissac terroir covers around sixty hectares. Mainly made up of sandy gravel covering clay-limestone soil, it extends in one piece, protected by the village of Cissac and the forests which surround it.

Château Cissac wines are wines that combine the strength of Médoc and the aromatic elegance of the greatest Bordeaux. They are distinguished by the depth of their color and a subtle balance of aromas.

Château Cissac is a vintage made from thirty-year-old vines, it is composed mainly of Cabernet Sauvignon and aged for one year in barrels (around a third new wood). It is best enjoyed young and can be kept for around 10 years.
