Domaine Clape's Cornas is the absolute benchmark of the appellation. This traditional, racy, long-lasting wine offers a magnificent expression of Syrah, aged here for 22 months in barrels and demi-muids without the use of new oak. Clape's Cornas is a blend of five to six cuvées from old vines, notably Reynard and Sabarotte. A confidential production that has become a great wine for enthusiasts!

Tasting: this very powerful and concentrated Cornas is like listening to an organ piece when the bass comes in. It is very fleshy. The deep, resonant notes linger in a captivating finish. It can be enjoyed now, but will reach its peak from 2027 onward. |
