Les Ecully Rouge - Maison Glandien 2021
The estate
Tino Kuban, a well-known young Berlin winemaker with his Les Jardins Vivants estate, has also established his own négociant house, Maison Glandien, alongside his rigorous work there.
He sources grapes from partner winemakers and friends in various wine-growing regions, including Burgundy, Beaujolais, Alsace and the Jura. In recent vintages, some of the cuvées have even come directly from grapes grown on his own Les Jardins Vivants estate. In every case, he seeks grapes grown using sustainable, thoughtful viticultural practices, meeting his high quality standards. During winemaking, spontaneous fermentation, minimal use of sulfites and aging in used barrels guarantee authentic, flavorful wines.
These wines have been a great success and are particularly hard to find.

All chemical fertilizers and herbicides have been banned in favor of healthier, gentler practices that respect the environment and biodiversity. In the cellar, the harvested Gamay grapes are naturally vinified with minimal intervention, allowing the fruit to release all its delicious aromas. |
