Pessac-Léognan - Château La Mission Haut-Brion 1985 Magnum

The Estate

Neighboring the illustrious Château Haut-Brion, the Château La Mission Haut-Brion is one of the iconic references of Bordeaux, and has been for centuries. Founded in the 16th century by the de Lestonnac family, the estate was later managed by Lazarist priests. Now belonging to the Clarence Dillon estate and Prince Robert of Luxembourg, Château La Mission Haut-Brion continues to shine among the greatest wines in the world.

Format: 150cl (Magnum)

Country: France

Region: Bordeaux

Cultivation: Traditional agriculture

Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc

Tasting: its dark robe, plum/garnet color, reveals rosy reflections on the edge, and the bouquet unveils aromas of smoke, camphor, charcoal, graphite, sweet kirsch, and black fruits, mingled with notes of meat, sautéed mushrooms, cedar, and spices. It is a sweet, round, charming, delicious, and very good La Mission.
