Petit Chablis - François Raveneau 2023 Magnum
The Estate
François Raveneau is a renowned family producer located in the Chablis subregion of Burgundy. The estate has built its reputation on vibrant, mineral-driven Chardonnays made from grapes sourced from carefully selected small parcels among the appellation’s finest vineyards.
Isabelle and Maxime Raveneau, third-generation cousins, now run the estate with the support of their fathers, brothers Bernard and Jean-Marie, who recently retired but continue to play an active role in the vineyards and winery. Before retiring, the two brothers successfully perpetuated the traditional ancestral viticultural and winemaking techniques established by their father and founder, François Raveneau, before passing the torch to their children.
Today, the estate spans 10 hectares of vineyards spread across three Grand Cru sites and six Premier Cru sites. These include small parcels in Blanchot, Les Clos and Valmur, as well as Montée de Tonnerre, Vaillons, Butteaux, Chapelot, Montmains and La Forêt. The estate also produces a Chablis Villages and a Petit Chablis.
