The domain
A nature lover, Steve Bettschen is first and foremost a great wine connoisseur following eleven years spent with a renowned Swiss wine merchant. Called by the land and production, he bought his first vine in 2007.
Surrounded by the best French-speaking winegrowers, he became a winemaker and quickly increased his production, also thanks to the purchase of grapes from friendly winegrowers.
The phusis range designates wines from its own vines: Clos du Mormont (La Sarraz / Côtes de l’Orbe / Vaud) – Orny (Côtes de l’Orbe / Vaud) – Sensine (Conthey / Valais)
Its production from the purchase of grapes is called metaphusis.

Tasting: The color is a pink apricot of good intensity. The first nose evokes the freshness of melon, orchard fruits, lemon zest. We then smell red berries as well as a small touch of stone powder. The entry in the mouth is light, cheerful, finely carbonic. The body develops with beautiful expressive aromas of fruit and sweet spices and the finish gives way to a sensation of freshness that is truly astonishing for the vintage! |
