The domain
A nature lover, Steve Bettschen is first and foremost a great wine connoisseur following eleven years spent with a renowned Swiss wine merchant. Called by the land and production, he bought his first vine in 2007.
Surrounded by the best French-speaking winegrowers, he became a winemaker and quickly increased his production, also thanks to the purchase of grapes from friendly winegrowers.
Range PHUSIS designates the wines from its own vines: Clos du Mormont (La Sarraz / Côtes de l’Orbe / Vaud) – Orny (Côtes de l’Orbe / Vaud) – Sensine (Conthey / Valais)
Its production from the purchase of grapes is called metaPHUSIS.

| Grape variety: Very rare in Valais (and not authorized in AOC Valais), Furmint is present in very small plots in the Fully region, more precisely at the bottom of Claives and between Fully and Branson. The plot from which this wine comes is also planted with a little Sylvaner, Chasselas, Marsanne, Blanchier and Muscat! |
Tasting: Beautiful clear, brilliant, slightly golden yellow color. On the nose, we dive directly into a basket of pineapples. Then come the broom flower, the pear, and other exotic fruits. The palate begins with a broad, opulent substance, coupled with a slight carbonic note. The body is supple, well articulated, held together by an ultimately not very marked acidity and above all beautiful and fine bitterness. A wine with a very beautiful aromatic breed and a generous, balanced, accomplished body (June 2023). |
