Côte-Rôtie La Mouline - E. Guigal 2016

The domain

Domaine E. Guigal was founded in 1946 by Etienne Guigal, in Ampuis. His son, Marcel, took over in 1961. Today, it is the 3rd generation who perpetuates the heritage and values of this emblematic family house in the Rhône Valley.

Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Hermitage, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage, the E. Guigal estate watches over a mosaic of vineyards located in numerous appellations which form a range of wines of impeccable quality.

Over the years, the E. Guigal house has experienced strong development, notably becoming the owner in 1995 of the famous Château d'Ampuis, as well as several wine estates (Jean-Louis Grippat, Domaine de Vallouit, Domaine de Bonserine and even the Château de Nalys, in Châteauneuf-du-Pape).

Only a few bottles are produced each year from this vine located in the heart of the Côte Blonde. On the palate, a voluptuous and silky texture, intensely aromatic.
