Majestic property on the Left Bank of the Bordeaux region, Château Pichon Baron ranks among the most prestigious Crus of Pauillac. Located on the Route des Châteaux of Médoc, the appearance of this Second Classified Growth from 1855 leaves no one indifferent. Its imposing stature reflects grandly and brilliantly in the water mirror that lies at its feet, beneath which is the incredible underground cellar. Entering the fold of the AXA group in the late 80s, “Pichon Baron” has undergone significant modernization. Equipped with modern infrastructure and with a largely replanted vineyard, Château Pichon Baron reaches heights of excellence, rivaling the First Great Classified Growths.

A true mosaic of terroirs and superbly located near the estuary of the Gironde, the vineyard of Pichon Baron extends over 73 hectares of vines planted on perfectly drained Médoc gravel soils.
