The estate
Agricultural engineer and oenologist, Viscount Louis-Michel Liger-Belair founded the vineyard of the same name in 2000 to take over the operation of the vines that his family still owned. Over the years, he has established himself in the Burgundy landscape by offering high-quality wines. Today, he manages hectares of vines in Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges, and Flagey-Echézeaux, among others. In total, the property consists of 12 appellations, it has been certified organic since 2011 and biodynamic since 2012. Indeed, from the beginning of his activity, Louis-Michel wanted to focus on environmentally friendly viticulture. A commitment he still upholds and which greatly contributes to his good reputation.

Tasting: the Vosne-Romanée La Colombière comes from a soil mainly composed of clay with some traces of limestone and vines averaging sixty years old. This wine is representative of the Vosne-Romanée appellation with its aromas of red fruits, a well-defined velvety texture in the mouth, and a beautiful roundness. |
