The domain
The estate has 2 ha in this vintage recognized as the most prestigious in the village of Verduno. It is a special vintage, the vines are exposed to the south-east and located at an altitude of 380 meters on average, forming an almost perfect amphitheater. Their ages vary from fifteen to forty years. The soils of Monvigliero, formed during the Miocene, are calcareous and above all very loamy, fine and draining, light on the surface.

Tasting: Like a Romanée St-Vivant from the Romanée-Conti estate, this cuvée symbolizes in itself the talent of its winemaker (vatting in whole bunches), the hyper class of its terroir and the singularity of its this area, which is one of the beacons of tradition in the Langhe. The wine is transcendent in its fineness of perfume (rose, violet) and texture, it is one of the most moving Barolos there is. Limited to 3 bottles per Club member. |
