Bonnes Mares Grand Cru - Domaine Georges Roumier 2007

The domain

Symbol of a quality wine if there is one, the domain of Christophe Roumier (descendant of Georges Roumier) is ranked among the best, if not the best of the Côte de Nuits vineyards, in the Côte d'Or department. Located in Chambolle-Musigny, near Corton, it extends over nearly 12 hectares, producing exclusively red wines (except for the Grand Cru Corton-Charlemagne, which is a white). 40,000 bottles are thus produced each year on the estate, which allows this wine to maintain a relative rarity. At VinsGrandsCrus you will find a wide choice of these exceptional wines thanks to the good relations we have with many red wine lovers. This means that despite its rarity it is still possible to acquire it.

The wines of Domain of Roumier offer a great diversity for tasting, they turn out to be both powerful and fine wines according to your choice. A Musigny, for example, will be very calm, while a Chambolle Combottes will want to be much more toned. Finally, note that the whole production has the characteristic of a grape variety with rather fruity touches.

Tasting: solemn and distinctive start with its clear but lively red color, bright and brilliant. The bouquet exhibits a splendid and captivating array of fragrances, including ground spices and an aristocratic assortment of aromas of intoxicating and stimulating complexity, along with notes of fragrant currant jam and hints of sweet tobacco. The palate is solemn, energetic, bold and flavorful with endless persistence.
