The domain

Proudly overlooking the Gironde estuary since the beginning of the 19th century, the vineyard of Château Phélan Segur is divided into four separate plots. The complexity of the wines of Phelan Segur can be attributed to the great diversity of its terroir. Its 70 hectares of vines are planted with 53% Cabernet Sauvignon and 47% Merlot. The wines of Phelan-Segur are famous for their elegance, finesse and balance.

Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot		Tasting: truly superb bouquet, like a Pauillac, with black fruits infused with graphite, subtle tertiary notes and pressed flowers. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. There is a lot of black fruit, lively and concentrated with a nice salinity on the finish.
