The domain
Born in 1948 from the marriage of two great Chablis families (the Raveneaus and the Dauvissats), the Raveneau estate is the benchmark for Chablis. Indeed, and this for several decades now, this area is the greatest expression of what a Chablis wine can give.
The fairly compact estate covers 7.5 ha, notably in Butteaux, Chapelot and Montée de Tonnerre for the Premiers Crus, Valmur, Les Clos and Blanchot for the Grands Crus.
All the wine spends at least a year in barrel. The wines obtained are lively, ample and complex.
