Created in 1920 by Pierre Ramonet upon his arrival in Burgundy, the estate quickly gained its stripes in France and abroad. Thus, Pierre Ramonet exports its wines all over the world and has been supplying starred restaurants since the interwar period. Today, the grandsons of Pierre, Noël and Jean-Claude Ramonet, perpetuate this reputation and this know-how by preserving the winemaking techniques and the style transmitted from generation to generation. The Ramonet estate is thus considered one of the most respected references in Chassagne-Montrachet.
The 17 hectares of vineyard cared for by the Ramonet family for 3 generations are located between Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny Montrachet. These plots present in more than 24 appellations are based on exceptional terroirs. Chassagne-Montrachet is a land of white wines. So the chardonnay and thetied up are the main cultivated varieties. They occupy 10 hectares of total production. THE pinot noir and the small occupy the 7 hectares of vines dedicated to the red wines of the Ramonet estate.
