Côte Rotie - Domaine Jamet 1991
The domain
From the village of Ampuis you have to climb four kilometers through the hills to reach Domaine Jamet. This very pleasant progression allows you to understand the steep slopes of the Côte-Rôtie hills. It is these inimitable terroirs that give all their character to this exceptional nectar.
Domaine Jamet is located on the plateau, at a place called "Le Vallin", where the panorama is fabulous and lets you see Mont Blanc and the Alps on a clear day. Upon entering this cellar, nature and simplicity are the hallmarks of the Jamet family, united around the local artisan. It is in this context that Jean-Paul, his wife Corinne and more recently their eldest son Loïc passionately cultivate vines and wine.
