Tasting: Coteaux Champenois Aÿ Blanc Grand Cru 2014 "Cuvée de Croix Courcelles" from Maison Henri Giraud is a still white wine from Champagne. It is a cuvée produced in very small quantities, each bottle of which is numbered. There is only 1955 bottles. This wine comes from Chardonnay Grand Crus d'Aÿ vines vinified and aged on whole lees in small oak barrels. There is no use of herbicides, insecticides or fungicides. It is a white wine of great freshness and a beautiful minerality. Housed in its elegant wooden case, the Cuvée de Croix Courcelles Aÿ Blanc Grand Cru 2006 is undoubtedly a great white wine from Champagne! |
