The estate
Tino Kuban, a well-known young Berlin winemaker with his Les Jardins Vivants estate, has also set up his own négociant house alongside this meticulous work: Maison Glandien.
He sources grapes from partner and friend winemakers in various wine-growing regions, including Burgundy, Beaujolais, Alsace and Jura. In recent vintages, some of the cuvées have even come directly from his own grapes at his Les Jardins Vivants estate. In every case, he seeks grapes grown using sustainable, responsible farming methods that meet his high quality standards. During winemaking, spontaneous fermentation, sulfites kept to a minimum, and aging in used barrels result in authentic, delicious wines.
These wines have been a great success and are particularly hard to find.

Tasting: L’Amorce from Maison Glandien is a rosé made by winemaker Tino Kuban, who took over Bernard Van Berg’s estate, based in Meursault. This cuvée comes from meticulously selected grapes, mainly sourced through négociants from regions such as Beaujolais, Jura and Alsace, always with the utmost care. The wine is made naturally, with minimal intervention and no added sulfites, except at bottling. L’Aging in oak barrels adds complexity. On the nose, this rosé reveals a complex bouquet of wild strawberries, cherries, blackcurrants and blood orange, enhanced by notes of pomegranate, watermelon and white pepper. On the palate, the nectar is wonderfully smooth and silky, with a long, refreshing finish. The wine’s spectacular color adds to the sensory pleasure, making this cuvée a must-have for lovers of fine, natural wines. |
