La Romanée Grand Cru - Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair 2012

An agricultural engineer and oenologist, Vicomte Louis-Michel Liger-Belair founded the winery of the same name in 2000 to take over the management of the vineyards that his family still owned. Over the years, he has established himself in the Burgundy landscape by offering high-quality wines. Today, he manages hectares of vineyards in Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges, and Flagey-Echezeaux, among others.

In total, the estate consists of 12 appellations, it has been certified organic since 2011 and biodynamic since 2012. Indeed, from the very beginning of his activity, Louis-Michel aimed to pursue environmentally friendly viticulture. A commitment he still upholds and which greatly contributes to his good reputation.
