La Romanée Grand Cru - Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair 2022

An agricultural engineer and oenologist, Viscount Louis-Michel Liger-Belair founded the wine estate bearing his name in 2000 to take over the cultivation of the vineyards his family still owned. Over the years, he has made a name for himself in Burgundy by producing high-quality wines. Today, he farms hectares of vines in Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Flagey-Echezeaux, among other areas.

In total, the estate comprises 12 appellations and has been certified organic since 2011 and biodynamic since 2012. Indeed, from the very beginning, Louis-Michel wanted to pursue environmentally responsible viticulture. He continues this approach today, and it contributes greatly to the estate's excellent reputation.
