Margaux - Château Margaux 1983 Magnum
The estate
Since the 17th century, the Grand Vin of Château Margaux has been recognized as one of the greatest wines in the world. Its qualities, terroir, and the passionate work over several generations have made it renowned.
The Château Margaux was classified as Premier Cru in 1855 and is currently owned by the Mentzelopoulos family. It was André Mentzelopoulos, a Greek with a strong personality, who took the reins of the château, followed by his daughter Corinne, the current and sole owner of Château Margaux.
Château Margaux has an extraordinary capacity for evolution. After several years, the wine develops remarkable finesse, aromatic complexity, and a notable presence on the palate.
