Pauillac - Château Pichon Longueville Countess of Lalande 2015
The domain
2nd Classified Grand Cru of Pauillac, the magnificent Chateau Pichon-Longueville Countess of Lalande radiates on the left bank of Bordeaux. The property was born after the division of the Pichon-Longueville estate in 1850. The castle takes its name from Virginie de Pichon Longueville, Countess of Lalande.
In 2007, Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande saw a new page in its history written by entering the bosom of the Rouzaud family, owner of the prestigious Champagne House Louis Roederer. The Rouzaud family breathed new life into the property by restructuring the vineyard and providing it with high-performance facilities to raise the estate to the rank of the best Grands Crus Classés of Pauillac. Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is also qualified as “super second”.
