Pauillac - Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande 1990 Magnum

The Estate

Second Grand Cru Classé of Pauillac, the magnificent Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande shines on the left bank of Bordeaux. The property was born from the division of the Pichon-Longueville estate in 1850. The Château is named after Virginie de Pichon Longueville, Countess of Lalande.

In 2007, Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande turned a new page in its history by entering the fold of the Rouzaud family, owner of the prestigious Champagne House Louis Roederer. The Rouzaud family has breathed new life into the property by restructuring the vineyard and equipping it with high-performance facilities to elevate the estate to the ranks of the best grand cru classés of Pauillac. Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is indeed referred to as a "super second".
