No introduction is needed for Dominique Lafon, whose reputation is well-established worldwide for the quality of his fresh and refined white wines. In just a few years, and with a heritage of great terroirs acquired over decades by his family, he has masterfully propelled the estate to the heights of Burgundy superstars.

At this level, talent alone is not enough; hard work, rigor, and a reevaluation of certain viticultural practices must be taken into account. This is why the estate, certified organic since 1995 and managed biodynamically since 1998, remains a reference in Meursault. The wines are highly sought after by enthusiasts around the world and are often too rare (Meursault 1er Cru Perrières, Genevrières, Charmes, and Montrachet Grand Cru in particular). The red wines, such as Volnay 1er Cru Santenot-du-Milieu or Monthélie 1er Cru Les Duresses, are also in constant progression with a pronounced, dense, and flavorful style.
