Saint Emilion Grand Cru - Château Figeac 1980
The domain
The great wine of Figeac, Premier Grand Cru Classé since 1954 is distinguished by elegance, freshness and harmony. Pleasing from its youth, Figeac reveals its complexity over time, offers a rich palette of sensations and always arouses great emotions. Château de Figeac has a completely different grape variety due to a privileged gravelly terroir: 70% Cabernet (half Cabernet Franc, half Cabernet Sauvignon) and only 30% Merlot. This atypicality makes Figeac say that it is "the most Médoc Saint-Emilion".
