Icon the Left Bank, the Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in the region of Bordeaux. The 2nd Classified Growth At Official Ranking of 1855 embodies the perfect model of a great Saint-Julien. Entered the fold of the Borie family in 1941, the Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou takes its name from its extraordinary terroir. Deposited along the river, gravel dating from the Günz Ice Age has forged the identity of the terroir of this exceptional vineyard. Located near the Gironde estuary, the vines benefit from an exceptional microclimate and the role of thermal regulator of the river.
Led with brilliance and determination by the talented Bruno Borie, Ducru-Beaucaillou is today at the top of the greatest Saint-Julien.
