The estate

Owned by Henry-Frédéric Roc, co-manager of Romanée-Conti, the Domaine Prieuré Roch is one of the jewels of Nuits-Saint-Georges. It cultivates a small dozen hectares applying the principles of biodynamic agriculture. The yields are significantly lower than those usually practiced in this appellation, ensuring the exceptional quality of Prieuré Roch wines. The grapes from the Prieuré Roch estate are vinified in whole clusters, meaning not destemmed. The Prieuré Roch estate operates small plots such as Hautes Maizières, Clos Goillote, and Les Suchots in Vose-Romanée, as well as grand crus like Clos Vougeot and Chambertin Clos de Bèze. Further south, it benefits from a Nuits Saint Georges premier cru in monopoly, Le Clos des Corvées, and a few parcels in Clos des Argilières. It has also acquired 2 hectares in Ladoix where it produces Burgundy white and red wines.
