The estate
The Boigey Frères estate is made up of Olivier and Guillaume Boigey, two brothers nurtured by the vines and great wines of Burgundy since their early childhood. With 20 years of experience in various professional fields, they created in 2018 the Boigey Frères Estate in Vosne-Romanée to preserve their family heritage.
The estate covers an area of 3.15 hectares where the vines surround the village of Vosne-Romanée. They include the following appellations: Bourgogne Rouge, Vosne-Romanée aux Jachées, Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru - Les Suchots, Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru - Les Damodes, Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru - Les Boudots, Échezeaux Grand Cru.

Tasting: it releases an extremely refined aroma, it's Burgundy as seen in picture books, a lot of terroir, the fruit remains rather in the background, black cherries. It's a celestial dancer, very delicate, slender, a small fragile plant. At the same time, it triggers a true aromatic fireworks display, the taste is incredibly good, everything is of impressive precision. This touching playfulness and the rather fresh style are a small miracle, especially considering the warm vintage, a magnificent wine. |
